Free Art Competition and Grafitagem announces winners

The Municipality of Campinas released this Tuesday, on May 5, the names of winners of the Competition and Free Art Grafitagem. In all ten are offered, and the first five will play in their works outdoors on the main roads of the Center of Campinas and receive cash prizes.
The winner of the 1st place will receive a prize of R$ 3 thousand, the 2nd place will get R$ 2 thousand, and 3rd place will win R$ 1 mil. The fourth and fifth place will receive R$ 500. Who was already the 6th to 10th place will receive a kit with ten cans of spray in various colors.
The first was with Israel Maia de Barros, who graffiti a work entitled "Free Naturally." In the opinion of the jury, the grafiteiros Antonio Duque (known as Tota) and Anderson Aparecido (The Hope), the work of Barros presented with good quality and layout whim, falls in the theme chosen and combined and the colors, and bold in design.
"It's too good to have won, I'm very happy," thrilled the winner of 23 years. "I started with the graphite to 14 years and did college of visual arts. Today, I class urban art, "says Israel Barros. "My work was inspired by nature. I design with the influence of comics and I like to use strong colors and contrasts, "he says.
Regarding the message you want to go with the graphite, Barros notes: "I find it very interesting to graphite as a popular art, where the public will see that the design can be rich or poor. So always try to pass a message of social awareness and try and paint degraded sites to make them colorful. In this contest, as the man wanted to go could be free in nature, "reports Barros.
The other winners of the 2nd and 3rd places are Thiago Martari with the book "Brazil" and Guilherme de Paula, with "Do not Let's Play, Let's deal." For the special advisor to the project executive, Paul SHETA, who coordinated the contest, the participation of grafiteiros was positive. "We had about 30 submissions and for being the first competition is a good adherence, and quality of work was excellent," he says.
The competition was part of the Program to Combat graffiti implemented by the city in March this year, within the project "The Art is Our", and had the support of Radio Education, Municipal Secretary of Culture, the Municipal Department of Education, Department of Municipal Employment and Income and EMDEC.

Concurso de Arte Livre e Grafitagem divulga vencedores

A Prefeitura de Campinas divulgou nesta terça-feira, dia 5 de maio, os nomes dos vencedores do Concurso de Arte Livre e Grafitagem. Ao todo são dez colocados, sendo que os cinco primeiros vão reproduzir suas obras em outdoors nas principais vias do Centro de Campinas e receber prêmios em dinheiro.
O vencedor do 1º lugar receberá um prêmio de R$ 3 mil; o 2º lugar vai levar R$ 2 mil; o 3º lugar ganhará R$ 1 mil. O quarto e o quinto lugar receberão R$ 500. Já quem ficou do 6º ao 10º lugar vai receber um kit com dez latas de sprays de cores variadas.
O primeiro lugar ficou com Israel Maia de Barros, que grafitou uma obra intitulada "Naturalmente Livre". Na opinião dos jurados, os grafiteiros Antônio Duque (conhecido como Tota) e Anderson Aparecido (o Hope), a obra de Barros apresentou boa qualidade e capricho com layout, se enquadrou no tema escolhido e combinou bem as cores, sendo ousado nos desenhos.
"É bom demais ter ganhado, estou muito feliz", vibra o vencedor, de 23 anos. "Comecei com o grafite aos 14 anos e fiz faculdade de artes visuais. Hoje em dia dou aula de arte urbana", conta Israel Barros. "Minha obra foi inspirada na natureza. Eu desenho com influência de histórias em quadrinhos e gosto de usar cores fortes e contrastantes", afirma.
A respeito da mensagem que deseja passar com o grafite, Barros aponta: "acho muito interessante o grafite por ser uma arte popular, em que o público que vai ver o desenho pode ser rico ou pobre. Por isso sempre tento passar alguma mensagem social e de conscientização e procuro pintar locais degradados, para deixá-los coloridos. Neste concurso, quis passar como o homem pode ser livre na natureza", relata Barros.
Os demais vencedores do 2º e 3º lugares, são Thiago Martari, com a obra "Brasil" e Guilherme de Paula, com "Não Vamos Assistir, Vamos Reagir". Para o assessor especial para projetos do Executivo, Paulo Shetara, que coordenou o concurso, a participação dos grafiteiros foi positiva. "Tivemos cerca de 30 trabalhos inscritos e por ser o primeiro concurso considero uma boa adesão, além da qualidade dos trabalhos que foi excelente", afirma.
O concurso fez parte do Programa de Combate à Pichação implantado pela Administração municipal em março deste ano, dentro do projeto "A Arte é Nossa", e teve o apoio da Rádio Educativa, Secretaria Municipal de Cultura, Secretaria Municipal de Educação, Secretaria Municipal de Emprego e Renda e EMDEC.
